Recently, our Human Factors Team from the publicly funded project STADT:up gathered in person for the second time since the project kick-off.
In a nutshell, STADT:up focuses on tailored concepts and pilot applications for seamless automated urban driving.  The project addresses vulnerable road users, complex intersections, and the automatic maneuvering around obstacles, aiming for scalable solutions in future urban mobility.
During the fall meeting at the Technische Universität Darmstadt, we were fostering lively discussions and engaging workshops on topics such as teleoperation, emotion recognition, and driver readiness.  Our chair had the privilege of hosting a workshop on the requirements for the safe and satisfactory use of partially automated driving systems in urban environments.  A big thank you to our consortium partners for their active participation!  We look forward to continued collaboration and a promising year ahead.
Stay tuned for groundbreaking solutions in urban mobility that cater to the needs of cities, users, research institutions, and the automotive industry.  Let us navigate the future of mixed traffic together! #STADTup #UrbanMobility #AutomatedDriving
