After developing successfully a rivet system for wound closure by DFG support, we propose a specific design of a gripper similar to a snake's jaw. The rivet is hidden inside of the gripper until the gripper opens. Then the rived swings out similar to cobra's tooth.
A main task in the fabrication of piezoelectric actuator arrays is the decoupling of the individual actuators. With new methods we will achieve new actuator structures and a better utilization of the piezo material.
