Die "European biomass conference and exhibition" (EUBCE) ist die weltweit größte Konferenz für die Behandlung, Konversion und Nutzung von Biomasse. Die 26. Ausgabe fand vom 14. – 17. Mai 2018 in Kopenhagen, Dänemark statt, wo 3169 Autoren und Co-Autoren in über 800 Präsentationen neueste Erkenntnisse aus Forschung, Entwicklung und Umsetzung darstellten.
Auch die Professur für Regenerative Energiesysteme war zugegen und nutzte diese Gelegenheit zur Vernetzung, Information und zum Wissensaustausch. Die Mitarbeiter der Professur präsentierten zudem eigene Ergebnisse zu folgenden drei Themen:
