SoTiC 2021 Best Paper Awards

The SoTiC 2021 participants selected the best publications of the Symposium.

 

All registered participants of SoTiC 2021 had the opportunity of recommending two best papers on the basis of outstanding writing quality, a high degree of originality, and an exceptional contribution to science and engineering. The Best Fundamental Paper Award recognises the publication with the greatest contribution to fundamental understanding in the field of thermoacoustics, and the Best Technical Paper Award recognises the publication with the greatest technical relevance of all papers submitted to SoTiC 2021.

And here are the award-winning papers of this year's Symposium:

Best Fundamental Paper Award

Best Technical Paper Awards

Wolfgang Armbruster, Justin Hardi and Michael Oschwald:

Impact of shear-coaxial injector hydrodynamics on high-frequency combustion instabilities in a representative cryogenic rocket engine

Francesco Gant, Alexis Cuquel and Mirko R. Bothien:

Autoignition flame transfer matrix: analytical model versus large eddy simulations

The authors of each of the three selected papers will receive a winner's award of 500€.
