Die Informationstechnik ist Innovationstreiber in nahezu allen technischen Disziplinen und Produkten. Damit prägt sie wesentlich das Berufsbild des modernen Ingenieurs. Die Vermittlung von Grundlagen der Informationstechnik ist deswegen unverzichtbar für eine fundierte und solide Ingenieurs-Ausbildung.
Innerhalb der Veranstaltung Grundlagen der modernen Informationstechnik 2 sollen dem Hörer die Grundlagen der Hochsprache "C" vermittelt werden. Durch die Zentralübung sowie die ausführlichen Heimarbeiten wird dabei zum einen der Umgang mit grundlegenden Aufgabenstellungen der Informationstechnik und zum anderen das Grundkonzept der strukturierten Programmierung auf Basis der Programmiersprache C gelehrt.
Der Lehrstoff erstreckt sich dabei über folgende Gebiete:
- Datentypen und Ausdrücke
- Ein- und Ausgabe
- Vergleichsoperatoren und logische Operatoren
- Kontrollstrukturen
- Zeiger
- Funktionen
- Dynamische Datenstrukturen
